Description
The New Jersey Fire Museum and Firefighters Memorial, honors the heritage and sacrifice of New Jersey’s firefighters. We house the largest firefighting collection in the State. We have everything from buckets, hand and horse drawn pumpers to steamers and over 40 motorized fire trucks. Come see our displays of helmets, trumpets, badges, photographs and memorabilia from the 1800’s to 1990’s donated to the museum from New Jersey fire departments. Witness the evolution of firefighting up close!
We are a self guided tour museum, but if you have questions we are always there to answer them for you. We suggest you start inside the main museum, then head out to out garage where you get to see the fire trucks! We all love to see the excitement on kids faces (parents too) when they see the fire trucks! We are a working museum, so many times you might see trucks being worked on, so please feel free to ask questions about the equipment, because we love talking about our collection!
There is a $5.00 admission charge for anyone 5 and up, we also have a gift shop and all proceeds goes right to the museum to help us continue to keep our museum moving forward so we can preserve the past for the future.
